DEEP SOUTH- Queenstown to Milford Sound to Invercargill to Dunedin to Queenstown
At certain times of the year Rugby Trips are offered along with the normal Deep South Journey. Generally these are at Carisbrook in Dunedin and are a truly cultural and enlightening experience.

QUEENSTOWN TO MILFORD SOUND TO INVERCARGILL (DEEP SOUTH DAY 1)
Depart Queenstown with Kiwi Experience and complete Milford Explorer day trip. Meet Deep South bus on route back to Queenstown and head to Invercargill for the night.
Travel on the Kiwi Experience Milford Explorer day trip and enjoy a cruise on Milford Sound – one of the eight wonders of the world in Fiordland National Park – a UNESCO World heritage area. Your Driver Guide will connect you with the Bottom Bus en route back to Queenstown and you will continue on to Invercargill for the night.
INVERCARGILL TO BLUFF TO THE CATLINS TO DUNEDIN (DEEP SOUTH DAY 2)
Travel from Invercargill to Bluff (transfers to Stewart Island available), then on through The Catlins, and to Dunedin for the night.
This exciting full day starts with a visit to the world famous Bluff signpost. Bluff is also the location for all transfers on to Stewart Island. We then travel through The Catlins, along the very southeast of the South Island. The Catlins is home to a spectacular array of natural attractions and wildlife including penguins, seal, seal-lions and dolphins to name a few. Bush and beach walks, wildlife encounters and wilderness at its best topped with a few awesome lighthouses. We arrive in Dunedin early evening.
Here you have the choice to hop over to Stewart Island – it’s definitely worth the visit, an island paradise with a kiwi (bird) population 100 times that of the kiwi (human) one.
DUNEDIN TO QUEENSTOWN (DEEP SOUTH DAY 3)
Enjoy a morning in Dunedin with a midday departure towards Queenstown with various stops throughout Central Otago on the way.
A free morning which gives you time to explore central Dunedin by foot and take in the Cadbury World Chocolate Factory tour before hitting the road back to Queenstown. We do visit the world's steepest street before we leave town and farewell our Scarfie (= student) mates that make up a big part of the culture in this City of Learning. We follow the Clutha River to Queenstown through some beautiful fruit and wine growing terrain to arrive in Queenstown by late afternoon.
