Territory Expeditions: 3 day/2 night Kakadu/Litchfield Tour (Feb to Oct)

This tour offers visitors a chance to explore Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks. Swimming, camping, hiking and culture. Operating from February to October it takes in both Wet and Dry seasons of the Top End.

Day Wet Season Kakadu/Litchfield Tour - Available All year round

Whats included:

Interpretation of the natural and cultural features of Kakadu.

What to Bring:
-Please note Luggage is restricted to 10 kilos per person.
-Good walking shoes or boots
-Insect repellent
-A hat
-Light long sleeve shirt for sun protection
-a 1 litre water bottle
-Swimming costume and a towel
-Light, comfortable clothing
-Camera gear and video
-A jacket (Mainly for June July and August nights)
-Medications and other personal requirements
-Binoculars/ torch
-A sense of humour
-A sleeping bag (can be hired for $10)

3 Day Kakadu/Litchfield May to October

Day 1 - Kakadu
-Pick up at 6.30am from accommodation.
-Head to Corroboree Billabong for a wildlife and Crocodile cruise.
-Ubirr (Rock Art and Views)
-Warradjan cultural centre.
-Camp at our safari camp at Jim Jim falls.
-Showers and toilet facilities (L,D)

Day 2 - Kakadu
-Early to rise for a big day
-Hike to the top of the Arnhemland Escarpment at Twin Falls, fantastic views and swimming in pristine pools, avoiding the crowds.
-Jim Jim Falls, a 1 km walk to the plunge pool for a refreshing swim surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs
-From here we head to our camp near Litchfield
-Aussie BBQ with a taste plate of croc, Buffalo and kangaroo.
-Showers and toilet facilities (B,L,D)

Day 3 - Litchfield
-Up early again to head to Litchfield National Park
-Wangi Falls
-Florence Falls for a cool swim
-Tolmer Falls
-Buley Rockhole’s
-Giant Termite mounds
-Return to Darwin approximately 6.30pm (B,L)

Extra Costs: $25 park Fee to be paid on the morning of the tour.
